We are open 7 days, 9am – 5pm andOpen late night Friday with our dinner menu.
The Legend of Kaimai
The name Kaimai translated from Maori means “a path way to food”, which is something Captain Cook discovered around 1769, when he named the region the “Bay of Plenty”, after he noticed the abundant food supplies at several Maori villages he visited on the coast. State Highway 29 is now the path way to the Bay of Plenty and therefore, the Kaimai Café. We look forward to seeing you soon.
